Costs

Our costs for basic mirror Wills are £120 plus Vat for a single Will it is £80 plus Vat.
For more complicated Wills such as a Property Trust Will we estimate the fee would be approximately £180 plus Vat.
The fee for more complicated wills would be set after discussion and agreement with you.
We also provide Wills for special needs and unusual circumstances of your beneficiaries, please feel free to discuss with us. These Wills are usually subject to a higher cost which we would discuss with you first.

Making a Will

 

Wills should be regularly reviewed to take into account any changes of circumstances.


Terms and conditions :-
In addition to our standard terms and conditions, available on request, please note the following :-
1./ Preparation of your Wills will be supervised by a Principal who has over 35 years of Will writing experience as a solicitor. We will prepare the Will upon your instructions as supplied to us.
2./ We will of course not take responsibility for any inaccurate information which you may provide. The advice given and the Will preparation as based on the Law as at today, with no obligation to advise on future changes. No advice is offered on lifetime gifts, tax planning or claims under the inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants)Act 1975 unless you specifically raise such questions with us.
3./ We are also unable to advise in relation to foreign assets, or other issues unless you specifically raise these with us. The Wills are prepared on the basis that your domicile is in England and Wales.
4./ Advice and preparation of the Will is also done on the basis that you have asked and received satisfactory answers to any queries that you have and that you are acting freely with no undue influence. We also act on the assumption that you have full capacity to make the Will. We will not be responsible to any third party should it be revealed at a later date that you lacked capacity to give instructions. If anything is not clear to you, you should let us know straight away. Should you wish us to pay you a visit we will be pleased to arrange this in most cases. This may be subject to an additional charge.

Note - We also provide Wills which provide for special needs and unusual circumstances of your beneficiaries, please feel free to discuss with us. These are usually subject to a higher cost which we would discuss with you first.
